Imagine a Sony Walkman app on your iPhone, similar to the iPod app, syncing your music across all devices but sans iTunes. Imagine it on your PS3 now, the same playlists and why not toss in some movies too. It would be even easier to develop for Android and BB10.
Sony has an opportunity to virtualize and dominate the portable music industry like no other. Walkman is the original iPod and its time to bring it back.
Sony, Walkman is an app, not a device.
Get on that ASAP, the world needs an alternative to the iTunes ecosystem.
