World Mental Health Day is observed on October 10th every year, with the overall objective of raising awareness of mental health issues around the world and mobilizing efforts in support of mental health. The Day provides an opportunity for all stakeholders working on mental health issues to talk about their work, and what more needs to be done to make mental health care a reality for people worldwide.

IN MEMORY
The annual 10/10 World Mental Health Day Fundraiser is in memory of Jeremy. He suffered from mental illness and took his life in 2010.
10/10 sets out to provide people like Jeremy the support and care that they deserve.
10/10 Event is dedicated to him, who incidentally, was born on October 10, 1970.

Transitions to Post-Secondary Education
Transitions to Post-Secondary Education is a supported education, three-semester program for individuals who have faced challenges with mental health and/or addictions issues. The program provides students who see education as part of their recovery process with the opportunity to assess new pathways to academic and employment success.
World Health Organization
Good mental health is related to mental and psychological well-being. WHO’s work to improve the mental health of individuals and society at large includes the promotion of mental well-being, the prevention of mental disorders, the protection of human rights and the care of people affected by mental disorders.
Heads Together

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry are spearheading the Heads Together campaign to end stigma around mental health. Heads Together aims to change the national conversation on mental health and wellbeing, and is a partnership with inspiring charities with decades of experience in tackling stigma, raising awareness, and providing vital help for people with mental health challenges.
